A growing, design-led boutique studio is seeking an Interior Designer to join their team. Specialising in hospitality, retail and wellness environments, this is an opportunity to take ownership of projects from concept through to delivery while working closely with senior leadership.

This role suits a confident, well-rounded designer who is ready to step into greater responsibility, contribute to studio growth and mentor junior team members.
The Role
- Lead projects end-to-end, from concept through to documentation and delivery
- Develop creative, commercially driven design solutions
- Prepare and oversee detailed documentation packages
- Ensure compliance with BCA and Australian Standards
- Coordinate consultants including planners, engineers and specialists
- Assist with development applications and approvals
- Manage timelines across multiple projects
- Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors
- Lead presentations and clearly communicate design intent
- Support and mentor junior designers
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives and studio improvements
- 4+ years’ experience in hospitality, retail or wellness design
- Strong design capability across concept, space planning and FF&E
- Excellent documentation and detailing skills
- Strong understanding of construction and project delivery
- Sound knowledge of BCA and Australian Standards
- Experience coordinating consultants and navigating approvals
- Commercial awareness including budgets and buildability
- Confident communicator with strong presentation skills
- Highly organised with strong time management
- Detail-oriented, proactive and solutions-focused
- Technical skills in Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite
