Our client is looking for a skilled automotive technician with current WOF authority to join their Queenstown operation in a specialist role focused on vehicle preparation, inspections and accessory fitment.
This isn't your typical workshop position spent chasing engine faults and major repairs. Instead, you'll be responsible for ensuring brand-new vehicles leave the dealership looking and performing exactly as they should. From carrying out WOF inspections and pre-delivery checks through to fitting accessories and final quality inspections, you'll be uncompromising on high standards and play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll Be Doing

• Conducting WOF inspections and vehicle compliance checks
• Completing pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on new vehicles
• Installing accessories including tow bars, roof racks, protection products and vehicle enhancements
• Carrying out final quality control inspections before delivery
• Diagnosing and rectifying minor fitment or accessory issues
• Ensuring all work meets manufacturer standards and specifications
• Working closely with sales and service teams to ensure vehicles are delivered on time and to a high standard

What We're Looking For
You'll likely come from a technician, mechanical, or dealership background and enjoy taking pride in your workmanship.

To be successful you'll need:

• Current WOF Authority
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
• Previous automotive workshop experience
• High attention to detail
• Experience carrying out vehicle inspections and quality checks
• Confidence fitting accessories and aftermarket products
• A professional, customer-focused approach
• Full New Zealand Driver Licence
