Apply directYoh has an exciting opportunity for a Recruiting Coordinator to support a leading defense technology organization through a fixed-term assignment in Melbourne / Port Melbourne, Australia. Employed by Deel and assigned to support the client’s Talent Acquisition team, this role will serve as a key partner to recruiters and hiring managers, helping to deliver a seamless and highly organized recruitment process.
This position will be responsible for coordinating interviews, managing candidate communications, arranging travel logistics, maintaining recruiting data, and supporting hiring operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and experienced supporting multiple recruitment activities simultaneously.

Location: Melbourne / Port Melbourne, VIC (Onsite)
Type: Fixed-Term Employment (6 Months) with Potential for Extension
Compensation: AUD $110,000–$120,000 annualized, depending on experience

Responsibilities
- Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to coordinate interview schedules and support end-to-end recruiting activities.
- Manage complex interview scheduling across multiple candidates, interview panels, and hiring teams.
- Coordinate candidate communications and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Arrange candidate travel and process related expenses in a timely manner.
- Manage candidate and contractor reimbursement requests and maintain accurate expense records.
- Reserve meeting rooms, coordinate interview logistics, and ensure required technology and resources are available for interviews.
- Monitor and respond to Talent Acquisition inquiries through shared team inboxes and communication channels.
- Maintain accurate recruiting data and candidate records within applicant tracking systems.
- Support sourcing and talent pipeline activities as needed.
- Assist with onboarding coordination and other recruitment operations tasks.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting recruiting, talent acquisition, HR operations, or interview coordination functions.
- Experience coordinating high-volume interview schedules and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to interact professionally with candidates, executives, and business stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to anticipate needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
- Comfortable working in a metrics-driven and detail-oriented environment.
- Previous experience as a Recruiting Coordinator or Talent Acquisition Coordinator.
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems and recruiting technologies.
- Familiarity with Lever or similar ATS platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Estimated Min Rate: $24.50
Estimated Max Rate: $35.00
