We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a well-established business operating within the electrical and engineering services sector.

This is a great opportunity for an organised and detail-focused Accounts Payable professional to join a supportive finance team and work within a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

About the role:
  • Processing a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Matching invoices against purchase orders and resolving discrepancies
  • Supplier statement reconciliations and responding to supplier queries
  • Preparing and processing payment runs
  • Assisting with month-end processes and reconciliations
  • Maintaining accurate supplier records and ensuring invoices are correctly coded
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers and project teams
  • Providing general support to the wider Finance team as required
About you:
  • Previous experience in an Accounts Payable position
  • Experience within construction, engineering, electrical services or a project-based environment (required)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • The ability to manage high volumes and competing deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
  • Good Excel and general systems skills
  • Experience with an ERP/accounting system
