Project Leader (powertrain S&A)

The Powertrain division focuses on efficient and clean vehicle drive systems. Here, the division works to improve the performance of injection systems, turbochargers, transmission control units, sensors, actuator systems and exhaust-gas aftertreatment. At the same time, it paves the way for the electrification of vehicles with efficient systems technology and economical vehicle integration

【Purpose】 
As a project manager as well as a technical leader of a specific product (NOx sensor), the position will be responsible for the whole process including customer communication (mainly Nissan, Mazda) as well as technical support. 

【Main tasks】 
・Technical communication between customers and Conti. development location 
・Methodical project management for ongoing projects and new project from this year 
・Quality support about Warranty return parts analysis about new failure mode 
・Quality communication from development to SOP(PPAP) between customers(QC) and Contin production plant 
・Business acquisition from potential customers(NOx sensor)

Requirements

【Requirements】 
- Knowledge of Electronics/Electricity 
- Automotive Powertrain engine Knowledge 
- Knowledge and experience of engine system control preferable 
- Application knowledge of sensors and actuators in under-hood environment 

Project Skills 
- Good working knowledge of D/P FMEAs and discuss with customer 
- Change Management support at customer with good knowledge of their processes and requirements 
- Organizational skills 
- OEM project experience preferable 

Customer Related 
- Major Tier1 and OEM Customers served Japanese OEMs Experience preferred 
- Ability to establish and maintain good relationship with customer on technical basis 
- Organize and Prepare Customer Technical review presentation 
- Review customer requirements specification with Continental development team 
- Early work with customer to identify new opportunities and how our product can best be applied 
- Take active part in acquisition phase (RFI, RFQ) 
- Support customer test campaign (sample delivery, setup, data exchange)

・The position reports to the team leader. 
・Undetermined contract 
・Flextime with no core time 
・Annual holiday: 126 days
