THE COMPANY:

Our client is a specialist provider of refrigeration and temperature-controlled solutions, supporting customers across food production, pharmaceuticals, logistics, manufacturing and industrial sectors.

With a growing customer base throughout Ireland, they provide innovative cooling and refrigeration technologies used in critical environments where reliable temperature control is essential. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking a Refrigeration Field Service Engineer to support customers throughout the Midlands region.

THE ROLE:

The successful Refrigeration Field Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of specialist refrigeration and cooling systems across a broad range of customer sites.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to work on niche refrigeration equipment while developing specialist technical expertise within a growing and well-supported organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Servicing and maintaining specialist refrigeration systems

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults

• Carrying out preventative maintenance programmes

• Supporting equipment installations and commissioning activities

• Working on compressors, refrigeration circuits, controls and associated equipment

• Responding to breakdowns and emergency call-outs when required

• Completing service reports and maintenance documentation

• Providing technical advice and support to customers

• Ensuring high levels of equipment reliability and customer satisfaction

• Managing a regional service territory

THE PERSON:

We are looking to speak with candidates who have experience within refrigeration, HVAC, industrial cooling, facilities management, food production, pharmaceutical manufacturing or industrial maintenance environments.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Refrigeration or HVAC experience

• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills

• Experience working on refrigeration systems, compressors and controls

• Good customer-facing and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage a territory

• F-Gas certification would be advantageous

• Full clean driving licence

• A proactive and solutions-focused approach

THE PACKAGE:

• Base Salary: €45,000 – €60,000 DOE

LOCATION:
