We are seeking an experienced Solution/Enterprise Architect to play a critical role in shaping and governing enterprise-wide technology solutions within a large, complex organisation.
This role will provide strategic architecture leadership, ensuring business and technology initiatives are aligned to enterprise objectives, architecture standards, and long-term technology roadmaps. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, project teams, and technical specialists to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions that maximise value and minimise risk.

This role will provide strategic architecture leadership, ensuring business and technology initiatives are aligned to enterprise objectives, architecture standards, and long-term technology roadmaps. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, project teams, and technical specialists to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions that maximise value and minimise risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and assure enterprise architecture artefacts including ICT strategies, roadmaps, position papers, and architecture standards.
- Provide solution architecture guidance across business, information, application, technology, and security domains.
- Lead architecture reviews, governance activities, and design assurance processes.
- Support initiative planning, requirements analysis, and pre-project assessments.
- Conduct options analysis and contribute to business case development.
- Ensure technology solutions align with enterprise architecture principles, standards, and strategic direction.
- Provide strategic advice on emerging technologies, innovation opportunities, and future-state architectures.
- Engage with senior business leaders, technology teams, vendors, and external stakeholders to influence architectural outcomes.
- Contribute to architecture governance forums, project boards, and advisory groups.
You will be a seasoned architect with the ability to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery outcomes.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience as an Enterprise Architect, Lead Architect, Principal Architect, or Senior Solution Architect.
- Demonstrated experience developing enterprise architecture strategies, roadmaps, and target-state architectures.
- Strong experience across architecture governance, assurance, and design review activities.
- Proven capability working across multiple architecture domains including business, application, data, integration, technology, and security.
- Experience undertaking architecture assessments, options analysis, and solution evaluation.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience working in large and complex enterprise environments.
- TOGAF certification or equivalent enterprise architecture experience.
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms, including governance, integration, and modernisation initiatives.
- Experience within government, transport, infrastructure, utilities, or other highly regulated environments.
- Exposure to Registration and Licensing systems or customer-facing government service platforms.
