ADAS DF Function Lead Engineer

Professional management of basic and series development projects for vehicle functions in the field of driver assistance systems / automated driving (eg Backup Assist, ACC, Automated Emergency Braking, Automated Parking, Traffic Jam Assist ...)
- Technical guidance of the globally distributed functional development team (including 3rd party software suppliers, if applicable) to achieve the project goals (especially the functional performance KPIs) in terms of content, time, quality and costs
- responsibility for the entire chains of action of the driving functions within a development down to the vehicle level
- Contact person / expert (m / w) in the company and to the customer
- Problem resolution management / change management for the driving and detection functions including ensuring implementation
- Ensuring the timely performance of necessary tests (from SiL to vehicle level) according to project and process requirements
- Carrying out clearances for the driving and detection functions as part of the entire product release

Requirements

- Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, Science or a comparable field of study
- Many years of professional experience in the development of driver assistance functions or software / hardware of associated sensors (radar, camera, ultrasound) as well as in technical project management
- Good knowledge of project management methods, especially in agile SW development
- Very good Japanese and English knowledge in spoken and written
- Team player (m / f) with team coaching skills in an international environment
- Independent, structured and organized way of working
- High flexibility and mobility as well as customer orientation
