Costing Assistant

We are looking for a detail-focused and numerically confident Costing Assistant to join a busy and collaborative commercial team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, takes pride in accuracy, and wants to develop their skills in costing, pricing, and commercial analysis.

You will support product costing, pricing updates, and margin tracking, working closely with teams across finance, sales, marketing, and product development to ensure accurate and timely information supports business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate product costings
• Monitor margins and highlight variances or risks
• Maintain pricing and product data within internal systems
• Update sales pricing including standard, promotional, and clearance pricing
• Support pricing reviews and ensure data accuracy across range documents
• Check price lists and product information for errors or inconsistencies
• Work closely with internal teams to support pricing and product launches
• Provide ad hoc reporting and administrative support to the wider team

About You

You may be starting your career or bring some experience in costing, finance, or data analysis. In either case, you will have:

• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Confidence working with data and systems
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
