Apply directWe are seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team. This role will involve a variety of tasks to support the business's financial operations and client accounts, with first-class training provided to help you succeed.
Working hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
A little bit about the role
- Process financial transactions on client matters with accuracy
- Post payments, receipts, and transfers promptly
- Set up payments (Cheques, BACS, TT) on online banking platforms
- Allocate funds received into the bank account
- Ensure compliance with company policies for client account payments
- Address and resolve fee earner queries
- Assist with bank reconciliations
- Perform additional ad hoc duties as needed
Getting to Know You
- Prior experience in an office or accounts team
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Numerically proficient with GCSE-level education
- Ability to manage pressure and meet deadlines
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
