Lending Officer

This is more than a traditional lending role. The Opportunity
Working as part of a close-knit but quickly growing Lending team, you'll:

• Manage lending applications from initial assessment through to settlement.
• Review customer financial information and supporting documentation to ensure quality lending outcomes.
• Apply responsible lending principles, credit policy and sound lending judgement throughout the assessment process.
• Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders to progress applications efficiently and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Identify opportunities to improve lending processes as the business continues to grow.

About You
You'll ideally bring:

• Experience managing or supporting lending applications across the full lending lifecycle.
• A strong understanding of lending processes, supporting documentation and responsible lending obligations.
• Sound analytical skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to make well-considered lending decisions.
• A collaborative approach and genuine passion for helping customers achieve the right outcome.
• A desire to continue building your career within lending and credit.

This role is best suited to someone who genuinely enjoys lending and wants to continue developing their technical capability. If your long-term goal is relationship management or business development, this is unlikely to be the right opportunity.
