Based in Napier and working closely with the chief executive, you will ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and strong controls while helping evolve the finance function. Your remit will cover transactional, operational and strategic finance, with a focus on linking financial performance to commercial outcomes, improving reporting standards, strengthening systems and processes, managing risk and assurance, and leading a small finance team.
You will likely already be in a senior finance or accounting role within a commercial or operational environment, or ready to step into broader leadership. You will bring proven financial management experience, strong commercial acumen, confidence with margins and business drivers, and a passion for using data to improve performance and find efficiencies. A CA qualification and broad financial and management accounting experience are essential.
