Pay Range: $22.00–$23.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to support our Purchasing and Materials operations. This position will assist with purchase orders, supplier communication, delivery tracking, MRP updates, material reports, logistics coordination, and invoice review.

Key Responsibilities
Track and follow up on open purchase orders and supplier deliveries.
Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and shipping providers regarding delivery status.
Create, update, and close purchase orders.
Maintain purchasing, material, and tracking reports.
Update revised delivery dates in the MRP system.
Assist with material and inventory tracking, including shortages and excess inventory.
Support invoice review and purchasing-related discrepancies.
Provide administrative support to the Purchasing and Materials teams.
Qualifications
Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Strong administrative, organizational, and data-entry skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Associate degree and/or approximately two years of related experience preferred.
Experience in purchasing, materials, inventory, logistics, or supply chain is a plus
