Are you a commercially minded sales / sponsorship professional who enjoys building strategic partnerships and driving new business?

We're partnering with one of Queensland's leading event organisations to recruit a Sponsorship Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a portfolio of corporate partners while identifying and securing new sponsorship opportunities across a range of high-profile events.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Sales, Marketing & Sponsorship, you'll manage the full sponsorship lifecycle, from prospecting and proposal development through to negotiation, activation and ongoing relationship management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Securing new sponsorship and partnership opportunities.
  • Managing and growing a portfolio of corporate partners.
  • Developing tailored sponsorship proposals and negotiating agreements.
  • Delivering sponsor benefits, activations and event outcomes.
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

About You

You'll bring:

  • Success in sponsorship sales, partnerships or commercial business development.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Experience working within events, sport, tourism, hospitality, entertainment or a similar commercial environment.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and a passion for delivering results.
