We're partnering with a well-established commercial fit-out, new build and refurb contractor to appoint an experienced Mid- Senior Estimator to join their growing Melbourne team.

With a strong pipeline of secured and upcoming projects, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business with an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality workplace, government and education projects across Australia.

The Role
  • Prepare detailed cost plans, estimates and competitive tender submissions.
  • Review drawings, specifications and project documentation.
  • Source, negotiate and analyse subcontractor and supplier pricing.
  • Identify value engineering opportunities to maximise project outcomes.
  • Manage multiple tenders while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Collaborate with project delivery teams to ensure a seamless handover of successful tenders.
About You
  • 3-5+ years' estimating experience within commercial construction or commercial fit-outs.
  • Ability to build up your own rates based on a pricing indices/past data/rate libraries
  • Proven experience pricing fit out and new build projects
  • Strong knowledge of subcontractor markets and trade pricing.
  • Ability to compare the Subcontractors pricing against your own estimates.
  • Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • A collaborative approach and strong communication skills.
