Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and weld structural steel components
- Complete heavy fabrication work in accordance with engineering drawings
- Perform MIG welding and general workshop fabrication
- Read and interpret technical and fabrication drawings
- Safely operate workshop machinery and fabrication equipment
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and workmanship
- Australian recognised Trade Qualification as a Boilermaker / Welder
- Previous experience in structural steel fabrication and heavy fabrication
- Strong MIG welding experience
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication and engineering drawings
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen (if required)
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ongoing full-time opportunity
- Paying $60 P/H + Super on ALL hours!!!
- Monday to Friday roster – 5:00am to 3:00pm
- Saturday overtime available as required
- Immediate start for the right candidate
