Quality Control Specialist

Yoh is looking for a Quality Control Specialist to join our client, a top solutions provider of essential cleanroom products and services.

This position is accountable for performing quality control inspections, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the implementation of quality systems across operations. The Quality Control Specialist ensures that products, materials, and processes meet established standards and regulatory requirements.


Industry: Life Sciences Manufacturing
Location: Lincolnshire, IL
Compensation: $24-$25/hr

Responsibilities Include

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials and products to ensure compliance with specifications
• Operate inside of an ISO 7 cleanroom to perform visual inspections of products and materials
• Maintain accurate and detailed quality records, including inspection reports, test results, and documentation
• Support the Quality Team in maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Assist with document control, including revision tracking for SOPs, work instructions, and quality records
• Identify, document, and report non-conforming materials; support disposition and corrective actions
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement process improvements
• Assist in root cause investigations and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities
• Ensure proper identification and traceability of materials and components
• Support supplier quality activities, including verification of supplier documentation and part specifications
• Assist with customer audits and vendor audits (customer or supplier)
• Monitor and ensure calibration of inspection and testing equipment
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, efficiency, and compliance

Qualification Guidelines

• 2+ years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor’s or associates degree in a technical field (e.g., engineering, biology, chemistry, or related discipline) preferred
• Experience working within an ISO 9001:2015 or regulated environment preferred
• Familiarity with inspection tools, measurement systems, and quality documentation practices

Estimated Min Rate: $24.00
