This individual will lead end-to-end production across branded content, advertising, and marketing campaigns while balancing creative ambition, quality, timelines, and budgets.

Job Duties Include:

  • Partner closely with Creative Directors and creative teams to translate creative vision into thoughtful, executable production plans.
  • Advise on production approach, format, staffing, vendors, timelines, and execution strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to create production efficiencies, consolidate shoots, and develop creative solutions that maximize budgets without compromising quality.
  • Stay current on emerging production techniques, technologies, formats, and industry talent to continuously elevate the studio's work.
  • Leverage an established industry network to identify and engage the right directors, production companies, editorial houses, post-production facilities, VFX studios, photographers, and specialty vendors for each project.
  • Maintain and cultivate relationships with preferred vendors, freelance talent, and production partners while ensuring high standards for quality, reliability, and cost.
  • Lead competitive bidding processes and evaluate production partners based on creative fit, capabilities, cost, and track record.
  • Build and manage a flexible vendor ecosystem capable of supporting both large-scale brand campaigns and fast-turnaround content.
  • Continuously identify and vet new directors, production companies, specialists, and emerging creative talent.
  • Own the full production lifecycle for video and photo projects, including pre-production, location scouting, casting, talent contracting, shoot execution, and post-production.
  • Direct-produce shoots when appropriate, serving as the primary on-set production authority responsible for budget, timeline, and quality.
  • Oversee post-production workflows including editorial, color, sound mix, VFX, and final delivery.
  • Manage relationships with post-production partners and ensure creative integrity is maintained through final delivery.
  • Oversee a broad range of production including brand films, broadcast and digital advertising, social content, product launches, experiential activations, photography, 3D/CGI, and OOH.
  • Own production budgets from initial estimates through final reconciliation, ensuring productions remain on time, on budget, and within scope.
  • Develop detailed production budgets, estimates, and bid comparisons and identify opportunities for cost efficiencies.
  • Establish effective budget tracking, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Provide proactive financial updates and communicate budget risks and opportunities to stakeholders.
  • Negotiate production contracts, vendor agreements, talent deals, usage rights, and other production terms.
  • Apply strong knowledge of industry-standard rates, production structures, and deal terms to maximize value.
  • Proactively source and engage subject-matter experts, on-camera talent, brand ambassadors, athletes, fitness professionals, and other specialized contributors based on project needs.
  • Manage relationships with talent agencies, casting directors, and talent representatives.
  • Source and evaluate specialized partners including music supervisors, licensing partners, motion graphics and animation studios, influencer networks, and production technology providers.
  • Develop production staffing plans and team structures based on project scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Determine the appropriate balance of internal staff, freelance talent, and external production resources.
  • Manage multiple concurrent productions while maintaining visibility into priorities, dependencies, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Establish efficient production workflows, schedules, and communication standards across the studio.
  • Serve as the operational production partner to Creative leadership, ensuring stakeholders remain informed and aligned throughout the production process.
  • Partner closely with Creative, Marketing, Brand, Apparel, and other cross-functional teams to align production plans with broader business objectives.
  • Present production strategies, timelines, budgets, and recommendations clearly to senior leadership.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Creative leadership, providing expertise on production approach, vendor selection, talent, and cost strategy.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization and effectively navigate a fast-paced, high-volume creative environment.

Job Qualifications Include:

  • 12+ years of professional production experience, with significant experience in advertising agencies, content studios, branded entertainment companies, production companies, or similar environments.
