And right now, we're looking for an Accountant who's ready to roll up their sleeves and make a difference.

So, what's the role?
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Accountant who enjoys variety and wants to be involved in more than just month-end. Working as part of a high performing team, you'll support the delivery of accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance and business analysis across the organisation. With exposure to a broad range of accounting activities and the opportunity to work closely with experienced finance professionals, it's an ideal role for someone looking to continue developing their technical and commercial accounting skills.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll work closely with Finance Business Partners and operational teams to ensure financial information is accurate, deadlines are met, and managers have the insights they need to make informed decisions. You'll also play an important role in process improvement initiatives, funding acquittals and maintaining strong financial controls across the organisation.

Here's what a typical week might look like:

• Preparing general ledger journals, reconciliations and supporting month-end reporting
• Assisting with management reports, financial analysis and investigating budget variances
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and funding acquittal processes
• Working closely with Finance Business Partners and operational managers to provide financial support and advice
• Participating in internal and external audits while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and organisational policies
• Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and systems

You're someone who enjoys working with numbers, takes pride in producing accurate work and likes building strong relationships across the business. You're proactive, organised and enjoy finding ways to improve processes rather than simply maintaining them.

Technically speaking, you:

• Hold a degree in Accounting, Finance or Business (or equivalent experience)
• Have experience in an accounting role with exposure to financial reporting, reconciliations and budgeting
• Have advanced Excel skills and enjoy analysing financial data
• Have excellent attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Are a confident communicator who enjoys working with stakeholders across the organisation
• Experience with TechnologyOne Financials will be highly regarded
• Hold (or are willing to obtain) a valid DHS Working with Children Check
