Hours: 2:00 PM–1:30 AM
Overtime: Occasional Fridays
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable Production Technician to join our 2nd-shift manufacturing team in Scottsdale, AZ. This position is responsible for supporting the manufacturing of products in a cleanroom environment, assisting with production issues, equipment installation and qualification, equipment maintenance, and prototype builds.
The ideal candidate has previous cleanroom experience, is comfortable following detailed manufacturing procedures, and can work effectively in a quality-focused production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manufacturing and production activities according to established procedures.
- Support daily production operations and assist with resolving production issues.
- Assist with the installation and qualification of production equipment.
- Support routine equipment maintenance activities.
- Assist with building prototypes as required.
- Follow direction from the Manufacturing Supervisor or other designated leadership.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing area.
- Follow all cleanroom, safety, and quality requirements.
- Assist in other production and manufacturing areas as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a cleanroom environment is required.
- Manufacturing, production, assembly, or related experience preferred.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and established manufacturing procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Dependable with consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Comfortable working in a controlled cleanroom manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work the full 2:00 PM–1:30 AM Monday–Thursday schedule.
- Willingness to work occasional Friday overtime as needed.
Cleanroom Requirements
This position works in a controlled cleanroom environment. Candidates must be comfortable following all required cleanroom dress, hygiene, and personal-item restrictions.
Cosmetics & Personal Care
- No makeup, cosmetics, lip balm, perfume, cologne, or scented body lotions/sprays.
- Unauthorized topical products may not be applied to exposed skin.
- Nail polish and artificial nails are not permitted.
- Personal grooming is not permitted in manufacturing areas.
Jewelry & Hair Coverings
- Dangling jewelry, including bracelets and necklaces, may not be worn outside the enclosed smock.
- Earrings extending beyond the earlobe must be covered by the required bonnet, hair covering, or hood.
- Hats or caps with a brim or visor may not be worn underneath cleanroom hair coverings.
- Hair bands, head scarves, and hair clips may be used to secure hair underneath the required bonnet or hood.
Clothing & Footwear
- Bare legs must remain covered at all times in manufacturing areas.
- Open-toed shoes are not permitted.
- Socks, stockings, tights, or similar coverings must be worn to keep the skin of the feet covered.
- Long-fiber sweaters are not permitted in manufacturing areas.
Personal Electronics
- Cell phones and other personal electronic devices are not permitted in manufacturing areas.
- Personal electronics must be stored in an assigned locker or vehicle.
