Executive Search Firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a company that operates in the life sciences, clinical research, and healthcare services industry, particularly within the Clinical Research Organization (CRO) and Clinical Services Organization (CSO) space.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to join the team. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will serve as the liaison between the business and IT, working closely with business users, IT Project Managers, Software Engineers, and Senior Architects to define requirements, drive decision-making, and ensure that business needs are met. Additionally, your responsibilities will include documenting business requirements, supporting application development efforts, and communicating project status to stakeholders.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will serve as the liaison between the business and IT, working closely with business users, IT Project Managers, Software Engineers, and Senior Architects to define requirements, drive decision-making, and ensure that business needs are met. Additionally, your responsibilities will include documenting business requirements, supporting application development efforts, and communicating project status to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead business users, IT project teams, and external partners to drive decision making and define requirements for application development, ensuring that business needs are met.
- Create and maintain documentation of business requirements, including functional specifications, use cases, and process flows, to guide application development and validation efforts.
- Collaborate closely with the business team, development team, and quality assurance team to ensure successful implementation of business requirements, and work collaboratively with IT and business partners to resolve issues.
- Lead the definition of system capabilities, project scope, business requirements, and function for complex systems application development.
- Independently analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing computer systems.
- Research current system processes in conjunction with business and IS team members, performing customized analyses of business needs with an understanding of applicable application systems, existing and future business processes, and pharmacy industry requirements.
- Understand and consider the business implications of the application and communicate with impacted groups.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and provide ongoing support throughout the development lifecycle.
- Perform and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that delivered solutions meet requirement needs.
- Analyze compliance vulnerabilities and work with IT and Business teams to eliminate vulnerabilities, supporting internal and external audit-related activities.
- Communicate project status and escalate issues as needed.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English.
- Six (6) years of software industry experience, including at least four (4) years of recent experience in business analysis.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft application software (i.e., Word, Excel, Visio, and Project). Experience with Azure DevOps and/or JIRA is highly desired.
- Strong requirements elicitation and conflict resolution skills.
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to develop a detailed work plan to ensure project success.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities.
- Strong team player with a proactive thinking approach, providing solutions and possessing excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Candidate must be willing to work during U.S. business hours, primarily from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM ET.
- Candidate is expected to follow the UBC holiday calendar, rather than local or regional holidays, to ensure appropriate coverage during UBC working hours.
- Candidate must have a high-speed internet connection of at least 10 Mbps to support remote work.
- Candidate must have a personal laptop with a suitable configuration to connect to the Azure Cloud PC.
