Our client, a pet care brand, is seeking a highly organized Remote Retail Operations & Sales Support Specialist to support day-to-day retail execution and sales operations. This is a part-time, temporary role responsible for maintaining product data, managing retailer and supplier systems, coordinating pricing and promotional activities, and ensuring accurate execution across multiple retail channels.

Responsibilities

  • Support retail operations through product setup, item maintenance, and ongoing data management
  • Manage pricing updates, promotional submissions, and retailer program execution
  • Maintain accurate product content, catalog information, and retailer-facing documentation
  • Coordinate and track product samples, requests, and related logistics
  • Work across retailer portals, ERP systems, and e-commerce platforms to ensure timely and accurate execution
  • Monitor operational workflows, troubleshoot issues, and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain reporting, trackers, and key business records to support sales and retail initiatives
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, operations, and finance to support business objectives
  • Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in retail operations, sales support, sales operations, customer development, or a related field
  • Experience within CPG, retail, pet, food & beverage, or natural product industries preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, and financial calculations
  • Experience working with retailer portals, ERP systems, e-commerce platforms, or product information management systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and proactively resolve issues
  • Strong organizational skills and a process-oriented mindset
  • Experience supporting retail accounts, product launches, promotions, pricing updates, or catalog management preferred
  • Comfortable learning new systems and operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment

Salary: $30 - $40hr
