Financial Accountant | 3-Month Contract 

We’re looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join the finance team of a global organisation for a three-month contract, supporting a key project transitioning the organisation’s functional currency from USD to AUD.
Based in the Adelaide CBD, this is a great opportunity for someone with technical accounting and financial reporting experience, along with a solid understanding of foreign currency accounting.

A typical week might see you:
  • Supporting the transition of functional currency from USD to AUD
  • Preparing financial schedules, reconciliations and working papers
  • Assisting with financial reporting and consolidation activities
  • Reconciling balances across financial systems and reporting
  • Preparing documentation to support audit requirements
  • Working closely with the broader finance team throughout the project
What we're looking for:
  • Demonstrated financial accounting and reporting experience
  • Strong knowledge of foreign currency accounting
  • Experience with consolidation processes
  • Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
  • Confidence preparing detailed working papers and supporting schedules
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and hit the ground running
  • Pronto experience would be advantageous, but isn't essential
