We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a retail refurbishment project based on the Central Coast, NSW. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on construction professional with a strong background in refurbishment, fit-out, and live environment projects.
You will be responsible for managing all on-site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to a high-quality standard.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day site operations from mobilisation through to project completion
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and trades on-site
- Ensure works are delivered in line with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Maintain a strong focus on WHS and site compliance
- Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety inspections
- Liaise with project managers, consultants, and stakeholders
- Manage site documentation, reporting, and progress updates
- Identify and resolve on-site issues to minimise delays and disruptions
- Ensure smooth delivery in an active or live environment where required
- Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering retail refurbishment, fit-out, or commercial construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site coordination, and subcontractor management
- Experience working in live environments highly desirable
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to drive programme and maintain high HSEQ standards
- Trade background or relevant construction qualification preferred
- Valid White Card and relevant site certifications
