Creation and modification of mechanical designs of parts or full projects of medium to high complexity using appropriate techniques such as: concept creation, design, calculation, CAD modeling, simulation, drawings creation in accordance with company quality standards and design guide lines in a timely manner.
Mechanics design
- Concept creation, design, CAD modeling, simulation, drawing creation of the specified products considering internal, customer, national and international standards
- Perform calculations, simulations and tests in order to meet product specifications, check and optimize the reliability of the product
- Optimize new and existing designs in order to reach better costs and manufacturability (design to cost).
- Design FMEA:
- Support and participate in Design FMEA and Reviews
- Sample build
- Support release of initial sample inspection reports from supplier and participate in sourcing meetings
- Process management:
- Plan, schedule and track own work packages
- Push process improvement in the sense of lessons learnt activities."
Requirements
- University Degree (Master or Bachelor in engineering)
- Mechanics Design experience in automotive industry, supply side preferred
- Knowledge of design guidelines, standards and regulations
- Knowledge in FMEA process
- Knowledge in design to cost (DTC) (manufacturing, components, technology)
- Good development process knowledge especially for mechanical design
- Japanese: Strong written and oral communication skills
- English: Strong written and oral communication skills
