The Opportunity
In this role, you’ll take on increased ownership of both client relationships and workflow, while mentoring junior staff and stepping closer to management-level responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns (companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs)
- Oversight of BAS, FBT, CGT, and broader compliance work
- Experience managing a fee base
- Reviewing work and supporting the development of junior accountants
- Contributing to and leading client tax planning discussions and resolving technical queries
- Collaborating with internal specialists across advisory, corporate finance, and wealth divisions
About You
- 3–6+ years’ experience in Australian public practice
- CA/CPA qualified or near completion
- Strong technical grounding across CGT, FBT, and Division 7A
- Confident in client-facing situations with growing commercial acumen
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to step up into a leadership role
