Yard Maintenance - Part Time

Yard Maintenance / General Laborer
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time, 3 days per week | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Position Overview
We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Yard Maintenance / General Laborer to help keep a large company yard clean, organized, and well-maintained. This is an active outdoor position requiring someone who is comfortable working on their feet, handling physical tasks, and working in Florida heat and weather conditions.
Responsibilities

• Perform basic lawn and yard maintenance
• Keep the yard clean, neat, and free of trash and debris
• Pick up and dispose of litter and other materials throughout the property
• Assist with general outdoor cleanup and maintenance tasks
• Handle, move, and secure plastic sheeting and other materials
• Use ladders to access areas up to approximately 16 feet
• Maneuver plastic sheeting across elevated surfaces as needed
• Lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Follow safety procedures when working around equipment, ladders, and elevated areas
• Perform other general labor and yard duties as assigned

• Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work throughout the shift
• Able to work outdoors for extended periods in Florida heat and humidity
• Able to climb ladders and work at heights up to approximately 16 feet
• Able to safely lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable bending, reaching, standing, walking, and working on uneven outdoor surfaces
• Able to follow directions and work safely with limited supervision
• Previous yard maintenance, landscaping, construction, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred.

Physical & Environmental Requirements
This is an outdoor, physically demanding position. Candidates must be comfortable working in hot, humid Florida weather and performing physical labor for the majority of the workday. The position involves frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, climbing ladders, and working at elevated heights.

This position is best suited for someone who genuinely enjoys working outdoors and does not mind getting hot, dirty, and physical while getting the job done.
