System Engineer (Sensors)

JOB OBJECTIVE:

1. Supporting technical activities between Japanese OEMs and Hella electronics products (accelerator pedals) on technical and project level

2. Maintain and support intensive communication between Hella and the Japanese OEMs with respect to requirements, meetings and discussions on project level

3. Support internal data exchange as input towards development activities of Hella’s electronics business in Japanese market

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Support of sensor product activities with the Japanese OEMs in order to gain business for Hella.

2. Co-create and support technical presentations to Japanese OEMs

3. Active involvement in the development, design and project management work of

   accelerator pedal both in the acquisition phase and in series production.

4. Assist in coordinating and support developing all activities between the customer and

   the relevant Hella organization

5. Support the identification of new business opportunities through technical acquisition

   activities

6. Write visit and development reports and provide other written and oral reports

   necessary to support the activities

7. Provide Japanese/English translation on documents, when necessary

Requirements

1. Experience in CAD, in particular CATIA V5, is beneficial.

2. A sound electronic / electromechanical / mechanical engineering background

   (preferably to degree standard) in the automotive industry for at least 3 years

3. Fluent or business level English

4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills

5. Open, outgoing and self-motivated

6. Understanding of Japanese Automotive business culture
