The Opportunity
Join a high-profile Queensland Government technology initiative delivering the next generation of intelligent transport capabilities. This contract will see you lead the delivery of a technical prototype within a major statewide transport transformation program, working alongside business and technical experts to enhance passenger transport operations through innovative traffic signal priority technology.

The Role
You'll take ownership of a critical technology work package, ensuring successful delivery while coordinating multiple stakeholders across business and technical teams.

  • Lead the planning, delivery, and governance of a key project within a major transport technology program.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and change requests.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and validate future capability requirements.
  • Work closely with technical specialists to deliver an innovative transport technology prototype.
  • Produce project documentation, reporting, and governance artefacts.
  • Provide regular status updates and ensure successful stakeholder engagement throughout delivery.

About You
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong track record delivering ICT or technology projects within complex environments.

  • Proven experience delivering technology or ICT projects from initiation through to delivery.
  • PRINCE2 certification or equivalent project management experience is highly regarded.
  • Experience working with cross-functional technical and business stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Queensland Government ICT frameworks and governance.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Experience within Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), transport technology, or operational technology environments will be highly regarded.
