Our client is a specialist technology consultancy supporting a major hospital technology transformation program. The program is delivering a greenfield technology environment across multiple interconnected streams, including enterprise platforms, clinical systems, infrastructure, finance and integration.
This is a large, complex transformation involving multiple delivery partners and vendors, with a strong focus on integrated planning, governance and coordination across the broader program.
About the Role
An opportunity is available for an experienced Master Scheduler to take ownership of the Integrated Master Schedule across a major healthcare technology transformation.
Working closely with the Program Director, PMO, Project Managers, Stream Leads and delivery partners, you will consolidate individual project schedules into a single program-level view, providing clear visibility of dependencies, critical path, milestones and delivery risks.
This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can understand complex technology delivery, challenge assumptions and drive scheduling discipline across multiple concurrent workstreams.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Develop, own and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule across all program workstreams
- Consolidate project and vendor schedules into a cohesive program delivery plan
- Identify and manage cross-stream dependencies, sequencing, constraints and critical-path activities
- Work closely with Project Managers and Stream Leads to validate schedules, milestones and assumptions
- Monitor progress against baselines and identify potential schedule slippage and downstream impacts
- Undertake schedule impact analysis and scenario planning as priorities, dependencies and delivery dates change
- Establish and maintain consistent scheduling standards and governance
- Provide accurate forecasting and visibility of upcoming milestones and decision points
- Produce program-level schedule reporting for governance forums, Steering Committees and executive stakeholders
- Coordinate planning across internal teams and third-party technology vendors
About You
You will be an experienced Master Scheduler, Program Scheduler or Senior Project Scheduler with a background supporting large-scale, complex technology transformation programs.
You will ideally bring:
- Significant experience developing and managing Integrated Master Schedules across major programs
- Strong technology transformation experience across areas such as ERP, enterprise applications, infrastructure, digital platforms, systems integration or similar
- Advanced Microsoft Project capability
- Strong understanding of critical-path analysis, dependencies, milestones, baselining, schedule variance and forecasting
- Demonstrated experience consolidating multiple project and vendor schedules into an integrated program view
- Experience working across multiple concurrent workstreams and complex technical dependencies
- Strong schedule governance and executive reporting capability
- Confidence working directly with Program Managers, Project Managers, technical leads and third-party vendors
- The ability to challenge delivery assumptions constructively and drive accountability around dates and dependencies
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
Previous healthcare or hospital transformation experience would be advantageous but is not essential. Experience across major ERP implementations, technology separations, greenfield environments or similarly complex enterprise transformations will also be highly regarded.
