The Configuration Manager is responsible for the analysis of Stakeholder Requests and to specify the
System Use Cases and the System Functions as System Requirements in the PDD (Product Definition
Document).
Is responsible that the scope of the system (product / platform) is clearly defined by reviewing all
Stakeholder Requests and Change Requests
Is responsible that all needed Customer / Stakeholder specifications and customer specific
requirements for the product / project / platform are collected and maintained
Is responsible for the analysis of the system (product / platform)
Defines the System Functions and allocate to the System Elements to build up the Functional
Architecture in agreement with System Architecture
Identifies and create the Use Cases (EndToEnd functions) of the system (product / platform)
Refines Use Cases (EndToEnd functions) to identify System Functions
Is responsible for the consistent documentation of Uses Cases and System Functions in the PDD
Specifies Uses Cases and is responsible for the completeness towards Stakeholder Requirements and
establishes traceability, verification criteria’s and responsibilities
Specifies System Functions and is responsible for the completeness towards Stakeholder
Requirements and establishes traceability, verification criteria’s and responsibilities
Specifies non-functional product / platform requirements, process and project execution requirements,
requirements for test and validation, requirements for manufacturing
Coordinates and aligns system requirements with all affected competencies / teams and ensures
review of system requirements and clarification of resulting issues
Clarifies open questions with customer with support from Product Owner
Contributes on System FMEA
Supports the implementation of Products/Platforms system requirements by clarifying open issues
Participates in Program Increment (PI) Planning, System Demos & Product test and validation
Requirements
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Engineering or Bachelor’s degree with relevant years of experience
Product Development Process knowledge (ASpice, ISO26262)
Structured problem solving tools (5Y, Fish Bone)
Vehicle network topology, HW schema and debugging skills
Proficiency on technical reporting and summary
Prior experience supported with domain knowledge for Product developed(good to have)
Customer contact experience
Good English & Japanese communication skill
Self-driven and strong passion in achieving results. Highly accountable for the actions and act as owner
Good planning and organization skills
Honesty in relation with company, clients and co-operators
