Schedule: Day Shift 7-3:30pm
Duration: Approximately 3-4 Weeks We are seeking dependable, hardworking laborers to assist with a short-term outdoor project in Auburndale. This position will involve installing and securing heavy-duty plastic coverings on structures to protect them from weather exposure.
This is a physically demanding job that requires working outdoors, climbing ladders, lifting materials, and spending time on rooftops. Candidates with construction, roofing, maintenance, carpentry, or general labor experience are encouraged to apply. Experience not required.
Responsibilities
- Install and secure plastic sheeting and weather barriers
- Climb extension ladders and work from elevated surfaces
- Work on rooftops approximately 16 feet above ground level
- Lift, carry, and position materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Kneel, crawl, bend, and work in awkward positions for extended periods
- Follow safety procedures and supervisor instructions
- Perform general labor duties as assigned
Requirements
- Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
- Able to work on hands and knees for prolonged periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in Florida heat, sun, and changing weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Construction, roofing, maintenance, framing, carpentry, or general labor experience preferred
- Experience using basic hand and power tools preferred
This assignment is expected to last approximately 3-4 weeks and is a great opportunity for candidates who enjoy physical, hands-on work and are comfortable working outdoors.
