Senior Network Engineer (12-Month Contract) – Sydney

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer for a 12-month contract based in Sydney, working on a large-scale network transformation program.
You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting secure, high-performing network services across a complex multi-site environment, with a strong focus on segmentation, Zero Trust, and secure access.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver enterprise network solutions aligned to standards
Support network segmentation (macro/micro) and Zero Trust initiatives
Configure and manage NAC platforms (e.g. ClearPass)
Deliver network upgrades, refreshes, and remediation activities
Support secure connectivity (SD-WAN, SSE, hybrid environments)
Monitor performance and resolve network issues proactively
Collaborate with Cybersecurity and Infrastructure teams
Maintain documentation and support BAU transition

About You

Proven experience in enterprise network engineering across multi-site environments
Strong experience with network segmentation, NAC, or Zero Trust programs
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Aruba (ClearPass), Palo Alto, and wireless technologies
Solid understanding of IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, QoS, and network security principles
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills

Desirable

Certifications such as CCNP, Aruba, or Palo Alto (PCNSE)
Experience with SASE, Zscaler, Prisma Access, or Illumio
Exposure to network monitoring, SIEM integration, or cloud networking
