Location: Limerick | Full-Time | Fixed-Term Contract (11 Months)
Salary: €40,000 – €45,000 DOE + Benefits

THE ROLE:
This is a dual-function role combining purchasing and inventory control. You'll act as the key link between the Engineering team, who release designs and bills of materials, and the Operations team, who require materials and components on time to keep projects moving.
- Review engineering BOMs and convert requirements into purchase orders
- Source materials, components and sub-assemblies from approved suppliers
- Manage supplier lead times and track deliveries against project schedules
- Liaise with engineering teams regarding design updates and material requirements
- Maintain purchasing records and ERP/MRP system accuracy
- Manage incoming goods, stock control and inventory transactions
- Coordinate material availability for build and production teams
- Support supplier performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
THE PERSON:
This role is well suited to someone looking to build a career in purchasing, procurement or supply chain. Previous experience would be beneficial, but the salary and structure of the role mean the company is also open to candidates earlier in their careers who have the right attitude and aptitude to learn.
- Experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Stores or Inventory Control would be advantageous
- Exposure to manufacturing, engineering or production environments is beneficial
- Comfortable working with BOMs, technical products or engineering teams
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Competent user of Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems
- Hands-on approach and comfortable spending time on the shop floor
- Qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Engineering or a related discipline would be beneficial

- €40,000 – €45,000 DOE
- 11-month fixed-term contract

LOCATION:
Ideally based in Limerick, Clare, Tipperary or North Cork, but open to candidates within a reasonable commute of the Limerick facility.
