Lumber Handler

Lumber Handlers needed for 1st shift in Lake City, PA. This position works in a door manufacturing facility and involves handling wood materials, assisting in production, and ensuring quality craftsmanship throughout the process.

Responsibilities

  • Handle and move lumber and materials throughout the facility

  • Assist with gluing, cutting, and assembling door components

  • Operate basic tools and equipment to cut boards to specifications

  • Sand and finish wood products to meet quality standards

  • Read and use a tape measure to ensure accurate cuts and measurements

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures

  • Follow directions from the supervisors and communicate and production issues

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must be comfortable working around wood and hand tools

  • Must be able to read and understand a tape measure

  • Must be able to lift over 50 pounds

  • Must have full body motion: bending, twisting, lifting, standing, ext.

  • Must be able to read and write English.

Benefits/Compensation

  • Full Time

  • First Shift: 7am to 3:30pm M-F

  • Pay Rate is $13 per hour.

  • Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts

  • Benefits available while employed through Career Concepts

  • Benefits available after probation once hired.
