This Catholic co-educational secondary college operates across two campuses in Melbourne's outer-west within the Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) network. The College brings a distinctive combination of compassion, service, and academic purpose to a modern educational setting.

One campus is well-established with 1,200+ students and a full range of senior pathways. The second campus, one of Victoria's newest Catholic secondary schools, is growing rapidly and will accommodate 1,500 students by 2028.

Role Overview
  • Position Type: Full Time Permanent
  • Start Date: Term 1, 2027 (January)
  • Location: Melbourne's Western Suburbs (Melton or Cobblebank Campus — indicate preference in application)
  • Subject Areas / Year Levels: Design Technology — Wood and Metal Work, Years 7-12
  • Salary: $78,564 to $118,063 FTE depending on experience and classification. POL allowances apply for leadership positions.
Role Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Design Technology lessons with a focus on Wood and Metal Work across Years 7-12
  • Create a dynamic, hands-on learning environment that meets individual student learning needs and fosters creativity and practical skills
  • Stay informed about curriculum initiatives and recommend contemporary digital learning materials to enhance student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate student records, assessments and reporting in line with college, VCAA and OH&S requirements
  • Collaborate with faculty colleagues and the Domain Leader Technology on curriculum planning, moderation and professional learning
  • Contribute to the broader school community through pastoral care, co-curricular engagement and the college's Catholic and Franciscan values
About You
You're a qualified teacher who:
  • Holds or is eligible to obtain Australian/NZ Citizenship, PR or valid work rights (Working Holiday Visa holders encouraged to apply)
  • Holds or is eligible to obtain Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration
  • Has an updated resume and can provide at least two recent professional references
  • Brings creativity and adaptability to lesson planning and delivery
  • Maintains high expectations for student learning and wellbeing
