Nursing Home Manager Location: South Birmingham Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + Performance Bonus About the Opportunity We're working with a highly regarded care provider to recruit an experienced and passionate Nursing Home Manager to lead a well-established elderly care service in South Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong clinical leader who enjoys creating a positive culture, developing teams, and delivering exceptional standards of care. The successful candidate will have the autonomy to make a real impact while receiving the support of an experienced senior leadership team. The Role As Home Manager, you'll take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring residents receive outstanding, person-centred care whilst maintaining excellent regulatory and operational standards. Your responsibilities will include: Inspiring and leading a dedicated team to deliver exceptional care every day. Maintaining compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements, and company policies. Creating and embedding a positive culture focused on quality, kindness, and continuous improvement. Managing occupancy, budgets, staffing levels, and overall service performance. Supporting, mentoring, and developing your management and care teams. Building strong relationships with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders. Monitoring quality through audits, action plans, and governance processes. Managing incidents, complaints, and safeguarding matters effectively. Working closely with senior management to achieve operational and commercial objectives. Driving improvements that enhance both resident outcomes and employee engagement. A current NMC registration with an active PIN. A proven history of achieving positive CQC inspection outcomes. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams. Sound commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and occupancy. A genuine passion for delivering outstanding, person-centred elderly care.
