Site Manager

Design & Build Recruitment is working with top tier 2 head contractor. Our client has operations in both Queensland and Victoria. Queensland projects are currently based in and around the southern Gold Coast. Projects will range in value between $60M - $100M. This is a permanent and long-term position with other projects in the pipeline.

Ideally, we secure a quality site manager to join and be involved early in preparation to "break dirt" June/July

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day site operations, safety, quality, & subcontractors
• Develop and implement construction schedules
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality
• Foster a positive, high performing, & collaborative working environment
• Keep on top of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure project compliance

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in commercial new build projects $60M+
• Excellent leadership
• Adept at problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced construction environment
• Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field
• QBCC
• First Aid ticket
• Values teamwork, camaraderie, and work/life balance
