Quality Person (QP)

1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay: $18.00/hour

Position Summary

The Quality Person (QP) is responsible for inspecting and packaging parts produced on the XY tables in the Stationary Assembly Department. We're looking for someone with an exceptional eye for detail who takes pride in identifying defects and ensuring every part meets our quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-piece, last-piece, and in-process quality inspections.
• Inspect and package parts at the XY tables.
• Maintain accurate quality records.
• Understand quality requirements and ISO procedures.
• Inspect and set specialty switches.
• Label packaging for stationary production.
• Notify operators, setup personnel, or management of quality issues.
• Update production schedules upon job completion.
• Assist with other assembly and inspection tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read work instructions and blueprints.
• Good communication skills.
• ISO quality system experience preferred.
