We are currently recruiting for Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about supporting vulnerable individuals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care and support to individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities
  • Assist with daily living activities including personal care, mobility, and routines
  • Support service users in developing independence, life skills, and social engagement
  • Deliver structured activities, group sessions, and individual support plans
  • Work closely within a multidisciplinary team
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and care documentation
  • Drive and support service users to attend community activities and appointments.

Candidate Requirements

  • QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare (or equivalent)
  • Min 2 years’ experience working in one of the following services: Disability services; Social care or Healthcare / residential care environments
  • Very good to fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Full driving licence with recent driving experience (within the last 2 years)
  • Willingness to work in intellectual disability (ID) services
  • Comfortable driving service users as part of the role
  • Friendly, caring, and professional personality
