Bose Corporation is looking for a highly motivated, detail oriented engineer to join the automotive
software testing team. This person will perform embedded software testing and automation
development on state of the art automotive audio amplifiers. This person will also interact with the
Global Software development and validation teams. The position will also work closely with
Engineering Project Managers to ensure proper test coverage and project deadlines are met.
Responsibilities
• Design and develop test plans, procedures and generate test reports.
• Develop and execute automation scripts.
• Assist developers in debugging customer issues.
• Maintain/update defects database with a defect tracking system.
• Support determining root cause of defects through structured analysis
• Manage validation schedules based on project demands.
• Participates in requirements reviews, design reviews, and related activities in development
process.
• Design and maintain test infrastructure for automation test suites.
• Manage validation activities assigned to offshore team.
Requirements
SKILLS REQUIRED
• Strong communication and problem solving skills.
• Self-motivated, work well in a team as well as independently.
• Experience in Software development.
• Knowledge in developing automation test scripts with Python.
• Knowledge of C/C++, MatLab, and Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of Digital Signal Processing.
• Familiar with analyzing signals on an Oscilloscope and configuring Function Generators.
• Experience with automotive networks, such as CAN, MOST, RS-485 and Ethernet AVB.
• Familiar with Lean process.
• Project Management skills
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (preferred)
• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience
• Must be fluent in both local and English language. Strong capability with English language
(verbal and written) to allow effective communication directly with staff at R&D, suppliers
and customers (highly technical discussions)
