Lettings & Property Manager

The role:
A leading property company is seeking an experienced Lettings & Property Manager to oversee a Single-Family Housing (SFH) development in Bedford.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out regular rent analysis of the local market.
• Meet prospective tenants, conduct viewings and negotiate rental offers.
• Complete applicant vetting requirements.
• Coordinate renewal communications and negotiations.
• Ensure arrival packs are prepared and ready for the tenant move ins.
• Provide first class customer service to residents and applicants.
• Ensure systems are kept up to date and accurate for all lettings and rental data.
• Ensure good presentation of available apartments.
• Coordinating the online marketing for available apartments.
• Ensure all enquiries are responded to in line with agreed service levels.
• Carry out property inspections and inventory checks.
• Manage maintenance issues, respond to resident requests in a timely manner and liaise with contractors accordingly.
• Ensure site is compliant, keep up to date with relevant legislation.
• Always provide exceptional customer service to residents.

About you:

• Prior experience in both property management and lettings is essential.
• Excellent knowledge of building legislation.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of the lettings process.
