About the Position

The school is seeking a full-time Prep Teacher for Term 4, 2026. This position would suit a qualified Primary teacher confident establishing positive classroom routines, supporting early learning development and working collaboratively with colleagues and families.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate Prep learning.
  • Maintain high standards of student safeguarding, welfare and inclusive classroom practice.
  • Build positive communication with students, families and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with Primary colleagues on curriculum planning, assessment and transition.
  • Contribute positively to the Junior School and wider school community.

Requirements

  • Current VIT registration or eligibility.
  • Relevant Primary teaching qualifications.
  • Full Australian work rights.
  • Two professional referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding onboarding.
