JOB OVERVIEW

JOB TITLE: Kraken M2C Solution Architect
JOB LOCATION: Melbourne, VIC (Hybrid)
JOB DURATION: 12 months

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with strong utilities and Meter-to-Cash expertise, including hands-on experience with Kraken implementations or conversions, to support a major transformation program.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale utility transformation initiatives, designing scalable end-to-end solutions across smart metering, customer, billing and meter data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design end-to-end Meter-to-Cash solution architectures across the utilities landscape.
  • Define integration strategies across CIS, MDM, CRM and billing platforms.
  • Lead architecture workshops and solution design sessions with clients and stakeholders.
  • Design scalable solutions capable of processing high-volume smart meter data.
  • Develop architecture blueprints, solution designs and technology roadmaps.
  • Provide architecture governance throughout project delivery.
  • Work closely with product, technology and business teams to ensure solution alignment.
  • Drive the adoption of AI and automation aligned with the product and transformation strategy.
  • Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies and cross-system considerations.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to utility clients throughout major transformation programs.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong domain expertise across utilities, Meter-to-Cash, smart metering and Meter Data Management (MDM).
  • Proven experience with Kraken, particularly implementation, conversion or migration programs.
  • Strong understanding of utility platforms, systems, integrations and end-to-end business processes.
  • Experience working within Agile environments with iterative development, configuration and deployment cycles.
  • Strong systems-thinking capability, with the ability to navigate complex cross-system dependencies.
  • Hands-on delivery experience across large-scale, multi-year software migrations or transformation programs, particularly within utility distributors.
  • Strong understanding of global utility markets, smart metering networks and complex billing/regulatory environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to lead architecture discussions and influence senior stakeholders.
