Heavy Packaging Production Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Heavy Packaging Production Associate to join a busy manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for preparing, cutting, assembling, and organizing packaging materials used throughout the production process.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a hands-on production environment and can maintain a consistent pace while paying close attention to measurements, quality, and safety. This is a physically active position in a hot environment that requires standing for extended periods, handling materials, and working as part of a team to keep production moving efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare packaging supplies for the production process.
• Cut, fold, score, assemble, and modify materials according to specifications.
• Measure materials and verify dimensions to ensure accuracy and proper fit.
• Use basic hand tools and equipment to prepare and assemble materials.
• Stage and organize materials so they are readily available to production personnel.
• Inspect packaging materials for damage, defects, or quality issues.
• Maintain consistent production output while meeting quality and safety standards.
• Follow production instructions and measurements accurately.
• Move, stack, and organize materials within the production area.
• Work with other production team members to maintain workflow and minimize production delays.
• Follow all company safety procedures and proper material-handling practices.

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, packaging, warehouse, or a similar hands-on environment needed.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and production equipment.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable working with measurements and basic dimensions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently produce accurate work.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, lift, and move throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work at a steady pace in a fast-paced production environment.

• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Experience working with cardboard, corrugated materials, packaging, or similar materials.
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus, but not required.
