Social Media Specialist

We’re partnering with one of Australia’s fastest-growing multi-brand hospitality groups to find a Social Media Specialist who can take full ownership of social content development and performance. This is a newly created role sitting within a collaborative and energetic marketing team reporting to the General Manager Marketing, working across brands with very different personalities, audiences and growth ambitions.

This role sits at the intersection of content creation and paid performance. You’ll be responsible for building platform-native content across Meta, TikTok, YouTube and Google, while also managing paid social campaigns designed to drive real commercial outcomes. From creating short-form video concepts and managing content calendars through to optimising paid campaigns, testing creative, refining audiences and analysing performance — this is a hands-on role with genuine ownership and visibility across the business. You’ll work closely with Brand Managers and Graphic Designers to bring campaigns to life, whilst also collaborating with external photography and videography partners as required.

The business is looking for someone who genuinely understands social culture and audience behaviour, particularly across Gen Z and Millennial audiences. You’ll be equally comfortable discussing content ideas as you are reviewing conversion metrics. A strong grasp of Meta Ads Manager is essential, along with experience building engaging short-form content and managing multiple campaigns simultaneously. The right person will also actively embrace AI tools as part of their workflow.
