Jayce Grayye Consulting is partnering with a leading wholesale diamond firm in New York City to hire an experienced, high-caliber Diamond Wholesale Sales Executive. This is not an entry role and not a training ground.
Our client is a long-established, nationally trusted diamond wholesaler supplying premium loose diamonds and fine diamonds to retailers, jewelers, and luxury buyers across the US. With over three decades in the market, they are expanding their NYC presence and need someone who already knows the terrain.
If you’ve spent years inside diamond wholesale, understand pricing, margins, inventory movement, and client psychology, and are ready to operate at a higher commercial level, this role is built for you.
The Role
You’ll manage and grow high-value retail and trade relationships, working with serious buyers and meaningful deal sizes. This is a consultative, relationship-driven sales role where credibility, speed, and judgment matter as much as closing ability.
You will own the full sales cycle, from qualified inbound and existing accounts through negotiation, fulfillment, and long-term client retention.
Compensation & Structure
• Onsite, full-time role in NYC
• Base salary: $75,000–$100,000 (depending on experience)
• OTE: $150,000–$200,000+
• Uncapped commission structure
• W2 position with long-term growth and earning upside

What You’ll Be Responsible For
• Managing and converting qualified inbound leads and established accounts
• Building long-term, repeat relationships with retailers and trade clients
• Advising clients on stone selection, pricing strategy, and market conditions
• Negotiating and closing high-value, high-margin diamond transactions
• Maintaining deep knowledge of inventory, grading, pricing, and trends
• Proactively growing your book of business and pipeline
• Collaborating closely with internal sourcing, operations, and leadership teams
• Representing the business at trade shows and industry events
• Consistently hitting and exceeding revenue targets
What You Bring
• Minimum 3 years of experience in diamond wholesale sales (non-negotiable)
• Proven success closing high-ticket deals in a fast-paced luxury environment
• Strong understanding of diamond grading, pricing, and wholesale dynamics
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills
• Confidence operating with sophisticated buyers and demanding clients
• CRM fluency and strong organizational discipline
• Self-directed, commercially sharp, and performance-driven mindset
• Flexibility to support clients outside standard business hours
• Professional presence and credibility in the NYC diamond market
