Apply directJayce Grayye Consulting and Recruiting is recruiting a Sales Representative for our client who manufactures portable sawmills that have been in families for decades: passed down, relied on, built into the fabric of working land. When you close a deal here, you're not selling a product. You're setting someone up with the tools to mill their own lumber, build their own structures, and own their outcomes.
This role is for a driven, coachable seller who thrives in a high-volume environment, knows how to work a pipeline, and genuinely enjoys connecting with people who build things with their hands.
What you'll do:
Drive the pipeline
Manage $1–3M in open quotes at any time. Use parallel dialling and disciplined follow-up to convert inbound and outbound leads.
Become the expert
Learn the full product lineup: sawmills, attachments, and competing equipment — and consult buyers with genuine authority.
Build lasting relationships
Engage new and existing customers by phone, email, text, and in person. Up-sell accessories as their needs evolve.
Own your results
Hit KPIs for customer service and revenue. Track your activity, self-report honestly, and always look for ways to improve.
You'll also represent the company at select tradeshows and make occasional visits to the Canadian head office for training. Some mid-year statutory holidays may be required (lieu days given).
What we're looking for:
Proven track record in sales — you know how to open, nurture, and close
Comfortable with high-volume phone activity and parallel dialing tools
Interest in or background with equipment, power tools, or the land/forestry space — or genuinely eager to learn it
Self-motivated and disciplined — you don't need a manager standing over you to pick up the phone
A communicator who adapts — professional and responsive across phone, text, email, and face to face.
Why this role:
Our client has been manufacturing portable sawmills for over 50 years. Their customers are landowners, farmers, homesteaders, and builders: people who invest in quality and keep equipment for life. That means your pipeline stays warm, referrals are real, and the product sells itself when you know it well. You'll earn a competitive salary of $60,000 - $65,000 and an OTE between $90,000 and $110,000.
If you want a role where your effort directly maps to your income, and where what you're selling genuinely matters to the people buying it, this is it.
