About the company:
Our client is undergoing a large-scale digital transformation, moving towards an Azure-first operating model while implementing Salesforce across the business. This is a unique opportunity to join at a pivotal stage and help build a modern, secure, and scalable cloud platform from the ground up.

The role:
As an Azure Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building the core Azure platform that enables teams to deploy and operate applications safely and efficiently.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on automation, governance, and best practice cloud design, with exposure to both cloud and hybrid environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Azure landing zones, management groups, and subscription structures
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Bicep
• Develop and enforce cloud governance using Azure Policy
• Implement and manage identity and access controls (Entra ID, RBAC, Conditional Access)
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Design secure networking patterns (hub-and-spoke, private endpoints, SaaS integrations)
• Support integration services including APIs, messaging, and event-driven solutions
• Provide guidance to teams consuming the platform, including Salesforce integrations
• Support hybrid connectivity between Azure and on-prem environments

Key experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
• Strong experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments
  
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep or Terraform)
• Solid understanding of Azure governance, policies, and security best practices
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps)
• Knowledge of Azure networking concepts (VNETs, private endpoints, hub-and-spoke)
• Experience with Entra ID / Azure AD (RBAC, access control)

Desirable experience:

• Exposure to integration technologies (API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid)
• Experience working in hybrid cloud environments
• Exposure to SaaS integrations (e.g. Salesforce)
