Assistant Product Manager (Pharmaceutical)

Our client is a large multinational healthcare distributor with a well-established commercial presence across Asia, partnering with leading pharmaceutical principals to drive product commercialisation and brand growth in key markets. They are seeking an Assistant Product Manager to join their Singapore healthcare team and take ownership of brands within the primary care space, specifically covering cardiometabolic and diabetes therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing brand strategies, promotional campaigns, and tactical plans to achieve sales and marketing objectives within approved budgets. This includes the preparation of business proposals, forecasts, and budget tracking, as well as monitoring and taking corrective action on product and market performance to keep brand growth on track.

You will conduct regular market trend analysis and gather customer insights to refine marketing activities and maximise commercial impact. A key part of the role involves strong cross-functional coordination by working closely with the Sales, Logistics, Regulatory, and Medical teams to ensure seamless execution of brand initiatives from planning through to market-facing activities.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is someone with at least 3 – 5 years of Sales & Marketing experience in Pharmaceutical, with at least 1 year of product management experience. Experience in the cardiometabolic or diabetes space will be a distinct advantage, though candidates from other therapeutic areas with the right marketing foundation will also be considered. You are someone with strong analytical skills, solid planning discipline, and the communication ability to align diverse stakeholders across a matrix organisation. A proactive mindset and comfort working in a structured yet fast-moving commercial environment will be an added advantage.
